Paul has over 35 years airline experience, with more than 30 years in airline Revenue Management. He was a key figure in the creation and roll-out of BA’s first R.M. system. During this period he also held key management positions with responsibility for Northern Europe, then North America.
In 1994, Virgin Atlantic Airways head-hunted Paul in order to implement a Revenue Management department. This included improving business processes and implementing their first RMS.
Paul rejoined British Airways Revenue Management in ’97 to manage business process re-engineering and delivery of the first phase of their O&D system. He has also managed a number of Oneworld RM initiatives including evaluation of future Oneworld’ member’s RM capabilities, and a standardisation of “Group Bookings” within the alliance. He also marketed BA’s RM solutions World-wide with Speedwing and represented BA at industry forums speaking on Revenue Management or Revenue Integrity.
During the last ten years Paul has designed, chaired or spoken at numerous Revenue Management conferences world-wide. Paul was also a founder member of the “Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management”, and sits on its editorial board.
Paul is considered the “Father of Revenue Integrity” as he is notable for creating “ARIG” (Airline Revenue Integrity Group), which provides an airline industry focus on non compliance and revenue recovery issues. Now, in its tenth year, annual forums are held which Paul organises and continues to drive and chair. ARIG membership exceeds 100 organisations and over 400 members as an increasing number of airlines discover the benefits of Revenue Integrity, which is a subject Paul is recognised as a leading authority on, having had white papers published on the subject.
“Paul Rose Revenue Management Limited” was set up in 2002. Paul has worked with several of the leading RM, RI and Pricing solution providers.
